The 4th of July.

Thursday, July 5, 2012

We spent the 4th of July with some dear, lifelong friends and had such a great time!  There were Buck Burgers, homemade ice cream, swimming, and lots of chatting.  Our families have been friends since long before we were actually families, so it's such a blessing to get together and watch our kids play.  God is so good!

A HUGE thank you to the Bucks for opening up their home to all us youngin's.  They are always so gracious and so fun!

Yep.  That's Mrs. Buck getting down to a little "Stars and Stripes Forever."

There were tattoos...

... and lots of diving board tricks!

(That's a pretty good cannon ball!)

Some of the big kids even got in on the diving board fun!

Joey trying to impress all the kids.

Ryan trying to out-do Joey.

Stacy showing 'em all up!!  She's still got it!  (And I love that it looks like Jeremy is shielding Maggie from the entire ordeal. LOL)

And of course there was Trigger.  He is such a people person dog!  He just wondered around, laid out in the sun, and then cooled off in the landscaping.

We had such a great time and I'm so thankful for wonderful friends that we can "do life" with.

THE Stephanie
I’m Stephanie - wife to one extremely handsome cop; mother to two extremely silly kids. The hubs and I have been married since February ’99. I love him more each day and simply can’t get enough of him. My daughter, Ashton, is 12 going on 17. She’s beautiful, creative, smart, and oh, so sassy. Taylor, our son, is 8 and is so much like his daddy it’s scary. He makes me laugh all the time with the silly things he says and does. He won’t remember what you told him 5 minutes from now, just like his daddy. I love to laugh and spend time with friends and family. I’ve also recently discovered a love for cooking and enjoy sharing recipes. I love finding new blog friends, so be sure to leave a comment so I can do the same!
