Update on injured officer.

Friday, October 29, 2010

I'm so sad to let you all know that the officer who was hit by a drunk driver a few weeks back, has died.

Thank you all so much for your prayers.  I know the entire SAPD will appreciate your continued thoughts and prayers as well.  He was so young and so eager to serve.

Here is the link to the news story, if you'd like to read it.

So sorry to hear...I taught in South San while my husband was attending UTHSC in our early twenties...super rough area, barbed wire fences around the junior high separating it from the high school...I sooo appreciated the officers that patrolled that area, they were such caring police officers...each time I visit your blog I say a prayer for your sweet hubby! My prayers have not only been with this precious fallen officer and his family, but also with the whole SA police department, what a sad loss!

I’m Stephanie - wife to one extremely handsome cop; mother to two extremely silly kids. The hubs and I have been married since February ’99. I love him more each day and simply can’t get enough of him. My daughter, Ashton, is 12 going on 17. She’s beautiful, creative, smart, and oh, so sassy. Taylor, our son, is 8 and is so much like his daddy it’s scary. He makes me laugh all the time with the silly things he says and does. He won’t remember what you told him 5 minutes from now, just like his daddy. I love to laugh and spend time with friends and family. I’ve also recently discovered a love for cooking and enjoy sharing recipes. I love finding new blog friends, so be sure to leave a comment so I can do the same!
