I had the strangest dream last night! It was one of those nights where I felt like I was dreaming all.night.long and it seemed so real!

So if anyone wants to take stab at what the heck this means, be my guest!

My dream was about me, getting ready for a wedding - my wedding - but I'm already married. I was already married in my dream to. And I was marrying my husband, but maybe it was a vow renewal?

I was curling my hair (I've been a bit obsessed with this lately) and had my dress there, ready to go, but I hadn't tried it on yet. I was about to get married and hadn't tried on my dress. It was my original wedding dress, too! I mean, I'm a bit slimmer now than I was when I got married, but still! Who gets married without trying on their dress?

Also, we were having a reception and my bridesmaids were providing all the food. (Weird, I know.) But they hadn't prepared anything (In my dream, they were supposed to serve cheesecake balls.  HUH?  Never heard of them!). When I asked them about it, moments before the ceremony, they said they had decided to only serve fruit.

Then I realized I never ordered a cake! So I contemplated running to Wal-mart and buying a prepared cake from the bakery.  In my dress, mind you.  By this time I already put it on.

This is not going well.

But that's ok, because that's when I woke up.

So, what's your take? I can't even begin to give this one any meaning! LOL

I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself! My name is Meghan and I stumbled upon your blog when I googled a recipe but I think God had a hand in it because I discovered that we have a lot in common! I live in the great state of Texas too - My husband will graduate from the Lubbock Police Academy on June 11 so I can relate to your posts about that a lot :). I am really bad about updating my blog but I know that will change once we start a family. Your family is beautiful, by the way! I look forward to following your blog and hearing all about your adventures as police officer's wife. Take care and hope you have a great day!:)

Oh, how annoying! Dreams like this, where everything go wrong, completely stress me out! I have a similar wedding-disaster dream and my wedding's been over for almost a year! Why am I still dreaming about it?! Ahh!

Weird! I hate dreams that seriously confuse me.

i have dreams similar to this! here's my take:

the wedding - symbolizes something super important/special/meaningful/etc.

the "incomplete" or unpreparedness of the whole thing = being stressed about some sort of event

i have these kind of dreams a lot being big meetings!!

haha

Ugh! I used to have those type of dreams all the time before our wedding. I hate not knowing why I dream the things that I dream.

it means that there is no one else you'd rather be with. the wedding symbolizes that we are starting a new chapter in our lives... together. the food and missing wedding cake symbolizes the uncertainty about small details in the future, but the over all picture is happiness. who cares, as long as we are together, right?

haha... who knows? Dreams are bizarre. I actually just posted a recent one, myself! (It's not quite so realistic, though!)

THE Stephanie
I’m Stephanie - wife to one extremely handsome cop; mother to two extremely silly kids. The hubs and I have been married since February ’99. I love him more each day and simply can’t get enough of him. My daughter, Ashton, is 12 going on 17. She’s beautiful, creative, smart, and oh, so sassy. Taylor, our son, is 8 and is so much like his daddy it’s scary. He makes me laugh all the time with the silly things he says and does. He won’t remember what you told him 5 minutes from now, just like his daddy. I love to laugh and spend time with friends and family. I’ve also recently discovered a love for cooking and enjoy sharing recipes. I love finding new blog friends, so be sure to leave a comment so I can do the same!
