Vacation Recap

Tuesday, July 28, 2009

As expected, we had so much fun on vacation.

We spent most of our time in the pool, with the kids doing this:

... while me, Joey, and my cousins were catching some rays on floats in the pool. Oh, and Joey makes a fabulous cabana boy, so most of the time we had frozen beverages in our hands, too!

Then we went to the beach and I managed to get my son in the ocean. (For those of you who aren't from Texas, yes, that's the ocean. I know it just looks like brown water, but that's what we call the ocean here.)

There was also some relaxing under a tent while at the beach. And my little cousin, Derek, was so good! There was a nice breeze so he was quite a happy baby for his first trip to the beach!

Taylor's big request? To build a sand castle.

Why? So he could karate-chop it down.

Then we had to get some yummy seafood while we on the coast, so we stopped at Fish Tales.

The rest of the vacation was spent doing more of the same.

Love, love, love spending time at my aunt and uncle's house! We had a blast!

I’m Stephanie - wife to one extremely handsome cop; mother to two extremely silly kids. The hubs and I have been married since February ’99. I love him more each day and simply can’t get enough of him. My daughter, Ashton, is 12 going on 17. She’s beautiful, creative, smart, and oh, so sassy. Taylor, our son, is 8 and is so much like his daddy it’s scary. He makes me laugh all the time with the silly things he says and does. He won’t remember what you told him 5 minutes from now, just like his daddy. I love to laugh and spend time with friends and family. I’ve also recently discovered a love for cooking and enjoy sharing recipes. I love finding new blog friends, so be sure to leave a comment so I can do the same!
