Dear Anonymous,

Friday, July 31, 2009

Thanks for reminding me yesterday about why I teach my children that if they don't have something nice to say, they shouldn't say anything at all. And if you don't have the guts to claim your statements with your own name, then why say them?

And for the record, yes, I am a Republican, and proud of it. But no, I'm not stupid. And while you obviously are a Democrat, I would never label you stupid. While we clearly disagree on (most likely) several issues - the least of which is how I choose to do my nails - the good thing is that everyone is free to have their own opinion.

But I don't do rude. So from now on, if you want to stop by and leave an opinion, you'll have to claim it.

Happy Friday!

We've all had our share of people who get their panties in a bunch over things they choose to read on our blogs.

They're always obnoxious. Never solicited. And sometimes disturbing.

And for the record acrylic nails are so not trashy. Give me a break.

OMG I had to go back and read the comment. I can't believe this!!! Having different opinions it's a good thing, it allows us to debate and challenge ourselves. However being verbally abusive doesn't amount to anything good!

Nothing worse than the good ol' anonymous comment. It's so funny to me that people feel so "convicted" to say something but yet don't feel strong enough about it to back it up with a name and face!

I had to go back and read the comment..I wish more people had a brain. Even when I don't agree with someone I always sign my name to it!

Thank you for your blog today. I read the anon comment last night and could not believe what this person said. I was offended on behalf you.

People have freedom of speech but not freedom of agressiveness verbiage.

I do completely agree with you, if some one has the guts to say something negative then have the guts to claim it. This person is obviously a coward.

This person is clearly envious of you and your beauty and talent.

Peace!

nice post! besides, the obama-mobile plan failed in 4 days. they can't run a car business, what makes them think they can run health care. the deal is, they ran out of money in 4 days. so, just think how quickly health care will run out of money!

I love him more each day and simply can’t get enough of him. My daughter, Ashton, is 12 going on 17. She’s beautiful, creative, smart, and oh, so sassy. Taylor, our son, is 8 and is so much like his daddy it’s scary. He makes me laugh all the time with the silly things he says and does. He won’t remember what you told him 5 minutes from now, just like his daddy. I love to laugh and spend time with friends and family.
