Baby Girl

Tuesday, May 5, 2009

Tomorrow my baby girl is having oral surgery to have 5 teeth extracted.

She's completely fine and begged the surgeon to remove them yesterday. (Crazy, I know.)

I'm freaking out.

In our 9 and a half years of having children we have never had so much as a broken bone, an ER visit, a hospital stay - nothing. And tomorrow, my baby is having full on anesthesia to have 5 teeth extracted.

I know she will be completely fine, but it still freaks me out.

So, my bloggy friends, please keep her in your prayers.

I din't even have a full on anesthesia when I got all 4 wisdom teeth and a cist removed!!! I will definitely pray for her tonight. Try not to stress too much she will be fine!

I'll be thinking of you! Brings back memories of when I had the same thing done! I was partially awake though too, I know I kept trying to ask them questions which I think annoyed them a little bit!! ;-)

When Alyssa was in 1st grade she got her tonsils removed...i was a total wreck...I paced and prayed like she was never gonna come out of surgery. I remember about 20 minutes into the procedure the doctor came out and I thought to myself--Something MUST be wrong, oh my gosh, something happened...panic stricken, to say the least... But no---she was done! Tonsils yanked out super quick...

10 minutes later she was eating a popsicle, 45 minutes later we were on our way home.

Be encouraged--she will be okay...and so will YOU! :)

Bless her sweet heart! Kids are so much more tolerant about these things than we are! I am a wus!!

Aww, never easy to see them go through anything, no matter how 'common'. Hope it all goes well. Hugs and prayers!
