Wow.... I had such a great anniversary! About 10am on Friday, these were delivered to my office.

Aren't they gorgeous?? Oh my goodness! And they smell so good!

Then, Joey took me to one of my favorite restaurants for lunch, and I ate this:

Can you say YUMMY?

And then... it was nothing but surprises for the rest of the weekend. Joey had instructed me to pack the night before, so I knew we were going somewhere, but I had no idea what I was in for.

First, he took me to The Tower of the Americas for dinner.

This was so great because 10 and a half years ago, this is where we started our engagement evening. Isn't it cool? If you've never been to San Antonio, it's definitely a place to visit!

Check out the view from our table!

We had a fabulous dinner. And I do mean fabulous. You know, the kind that makes you moan (embarrassingly) after every bite? Yeah, it was like that.

After dinner Joey proceeded to drive.... and drive.... and drive some more. It was quite funny actually, because he drove right past some very nice resorts. My stomach began to turn as I watched the signs on the highway turn to names that you only hear on the news followed by stories about murder and kidnapping.

But he just kept driving.... right on out of town.

Lucky for me, he pulled into a quaint little parking lot where the sign ended with the word "spa".

We went to our room, because he already had a key, and he asked me to sit down while he got his guitar. My eyes began to tear up. He had written me the most beautiful song I had ever heard - and I'm still not sure I've heard the whole song because you know, when you're bawling, it's sort of hard to hear.

The next morning, Joey woke me up and said I had an appointment at 10. This was the view of the Texas hill country from our room.

So pretty!

I have NEVER been more excited. I had a heck of a week....

After my body had been turned to jell-o with a two hour body scrub and massage, it was time for lunch. Joey did his thing and just started driving... right through the ghetto.

I tell you, he really knows how to scare a girl!

Lucky for me, again, we found this:

My favorite Mexican restaurant from YEARS ago that shut down in SA. I had no idea that they had re-opened way across town a few months back! Hallelujah!!

After a yummy lunch, what did Joey do? You guessed it... he drove.

All the way to San Marcos. Home of the best outlet mall shopping around!! What can I say? He knows the way to my heart. We spent the ENTIRE day just walking around and shopping.

It was so much fun. I had the best 10 year anniversary ever!

I love you so much, baby!! Thanks for all the surprises!
