"My Husband Rocks" Friday - The Song

Friday, December 12, 2008

*Warning: Put down your drink. I cannot be responsible for ruining your computer should liquid come spewing out of your mouth.

Now, onto why my husband rocks.

When we had been married for 3 years, Joey wrote a song for me as a Christmas gift. It's not the first song he's written. He's very talented.

Before you start tearing up, take a listen.

Just so you know, he played this for me in surround sound, in my parents living room, on Christmas Eve, with my entire family present.

And yes, he said "bow-chica-bow-bow."

And since my hubby no longer blogs, I'm sorry, but you're not getting the "stalker" story out of me.

The napkins, you ask? To this day, I always forget to put the napkins on the table. I'm a very clean eater. What can I say?

Anyway, I love that song. It makes me laugh, it makes me cry, it makes me think of the nearly 10 wonderful years that we've been married. He played every instrument on that recording and sang every part. Now THAT rocks!

I love you baby! Thanks for being so creative.

I had to fight back the tears listening to that song; I have to say that would have been the best gift ever...I love the end how he sings softly and fades out! What a talented couple you are as I know you sing too Steph!

And funny thing is I always forget the napkins and have to have Zman get them for all of us!!

This was great; thanks for sharing!

I’m Stephanie - wife to one extremely handsome cop; mother to two extremely silly kids. The hubs and I have been married since February ’99. I love him more each day and simply can’t get enough of him. My daughter, Ashton, is 12 going on 17. She’s beautiful, creative, smart, and oh, so sassy. Taylor, our son, is 8 and is so much like his daddy it’s scary. He makes me laugh all the time with the silly things he says and does. He won’t remember what you told him 5 minutes from now, just like his daddy. I love to laugh and spend time with friends and family. I’ve also recently discovered a love for cooking and enjoy sharing recipes. I love finding new blog friends, so be sure to leave a comment so I can do the same!
