I'm done.

I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas. We sure did.

But as crazy as I am about getting the Christmas festivities started, I'm just as crazy about ending them. The house is a wreck. It's cluttered with presents, decorations, lights, food - I just can't take it.

The day after Thanksgiving it all goes up. The day after Christmas it all comes down. And I can't get it down fast enough!!!

Joey thinks I'm crazy, and the kids think I'm crazier... but what little bit of OCD I have all kicks in at the same time and I turn into a mad woman! So, I'll be back with you in a bit - when the house is back to working order.

And don't worry, the blog will be back to non-Christmas too.

One thing at a time... one thing at a time.

I had to laugh Thankgiving night the tree goes up Christmas night the tree comes down many people have asked why but like you I am done with the clutter. Christmas is done at my house all is away and the house is back to normal. Minus a few old toys and the addition of a few new ones but of course everything still has a home.

Woohoo!! I just figured out how to leave a comment. Hi, there! My name is Dawndra, and I'm a friend of Joey's from bodyspace. I've been following your blog for quite some time now. I had asked him a while back about his family, and he sent me here. I have been wanting to say hello, but I know NOTHING about blogging. SOOO, he finally instructed me on how to comment without having a blog myself...lol. Lame, I know.

Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that you rock!! lol. Your blogs are seriously funny and incredibly touching at times. I love seeing the ones about your kids, because my husband and I are expecting our first now...AND WE CANNOT WAIT TO MAKE SUCH SPECIAL MEMORIES!!!

Okay...this was really just supposed to be to say hello. Have a wonderful new year, and I'll be commenting more often now that I know how!!

let's get acquainted

THE Stephanie
I’m Stephanie - wife to one extremely handsome cop; mother to two extremely silly kids. The hubs and I have been married since February ’99. I love him more each day and simply can’t get enough of him. My daughter, Ashton, is 12 going on 17. She’s beautiful, creative, smart, and oh, so sassy. Taylor, our son, is 8 and is so much like his daddy it’s scary. He makes me laugh all the time with the silly things he says and does. He won’t remember what you told him 5 minutes from now, just like his daddy. I love to laugh and spend time with friends and family. I’ve also recently discovered a love for cooking and enjoy sharing recipes. I love finding new blog friends, so be sure to leave a comment so I can do the same!
