Scary stuff

The kids had a great time Trick-or-Treating on Friday. We had our second annual visit to a friends neighborhood and joined them for the fun.

Here's my little Darth Vador and Vampiress:

And the entire group...

Now for the scariest part of all - my little girl at the bus stop. Not part of Halloween, I know, but it's pretty scary to leave my baby at the bus stop.

Not for her, though. She was completely embarrassed that I was waiting for the bus to arrive and even more embarrassed that I took a picture.

Is it just me or does she look WAY too grown up?

They look fantastic! She is playing the part perfectly in her picture.

PS Yes girl they grow up fast...10 and 4 coming up in February...I can't believe it! And Love wants to do everything by herself...except carry her up the stairs like a baby!

Hi! Found your blog through Lindsey (Learning to be a Wife). Halloween looks like such a fun time with kids! I can't wait someday. You're daughter definately has the vampiress look down...yikes! :)

My daughter is in 6th grade, and I still wait at the bus stop for her to be picked up...I totally suck and hiding it, too. I always tell Alyssa that every other kid at that bus stop with her would LOVE for their mom to care enough to wait at the bus stop. That most mommies have to be at work early, so kids have to wake up alone and come home alone. I then proceed to tell her how blessed she is to have a mom that loves her so much. Is this a subtle form of guilt?! I think so... but I don't care...she still buys it!

I’m Stephanie - wife to one extremely handsome cop; mother to two extremely silly kids. The hubs and I have been married since February ’99. I love him more each day and simply can’t get enough of him. My daughter, Ashton, is 12 going on 17. She’s beautiful, creative, smart, and oh, so sassy. Taylor, our son, is 8 and is so much like his daddy it’s scary. He makes me laugh all the time with the silly things he says and does. He won’t remember what you told him 5 minutes from now, just like his daddy. I love to laugh and spend time with friends and family. I’ve also recently discovered a love for cooking and enjoy sharing recipes. I love finding new blog friends, so be sure to leave a comment so I can do the same!
