What little kids do while big kids work

Wednesday, July 2, 2008

The other day the kids came to my office for an hour or so at the end of the day because we had something right after work. Joey dropped them off with the laptop and movies in hand.

After I introduced them to all the people on the way to my office, I got a movie set-up for them to watch until it was time to go. This was obviously fine for Taylor...

Ashton, on the other hand, would rather draw, which is completely fine with me. She is an amazing artist - and has been for years now. Sometimes she will come home from school and just go straight to her room and draw for hours, only coming out for food and water. lol

This is one of the picture she drew. It's been sitting on the top on my desk since she was here and I can't tell you how many people have seen it and been amazed at the talent she has at such a young age. I'm telling you, people, now is your chance! Print this out. When she's famous, you'll be glad you did!

Frame that picture!

My 8 year old granddaughter loves to draw also. She would like to be an artist when she grows up.

I think your daughter and my granddaughter both have been blessed with talent.

have a wonderful 4th.

I’m Stephanie - wife to one extremely handsome cop; mother to two extremely silly kids. The hubs and I have been married since February ’99. I love him more each day and simply can’t get enough of him. My daughter, Ashton, is 12 going on 17. She’s beautiful, creative, smart, and oh, so sassy. Taylor, our son, is 8 and is so much like his daddy it’s scary. He makes me laugh all the time with the silly things he says and does. He won’t remember what you told him 5 minutes from now, just like his daddy. I love to laugh and spend time with friends and family. I’ve also recently discovered a love for cooking and enjoy sharing recipes. I love finding new blog friends, so be sure to leave a comment so I can do the same!
