After a long, hard school year, who couldn't use a trip to the Rainforest Cafe to see all the cute, life-like animals and have them scare the begesus out of you?

Good times.

We took the kids on Sunday after church to celebrate the end of the school year and had a great time. Yes, Taylor was practically scared poop-less by the alligator. And then again by the thunder and lightening "show". But hey, when we got in the car he said the alligator was his favorite thing!

Figures.

Mommy, Taylor, and Daddy waiting for that darned chips & queso! Mommy is STARV-ING!

We always have lunch with Mimi (Joey's mom) on Sunday after church, so she came along.

Taylor was scared of the tiger, too. It may look like they're close in the picture, but they're actually a ways in front. He wouldn't get close!! Silly boy.

The first time we went to Rainforest Cafe was when Madalyn was two. She was scared out of her mind. Everytime there was a thunderstorm, she started screaming. Good times...

We go to RFC far too often. The kids love it, but it takes sooo long just to have a meal there.

We always enjoy the Rainforest Cafe in Galveston. They have a little boat ride you can take... corny but the boys love it. ~Jill :)

I could come by your blog and just stare at your family. Every last one of you are gorgeous!!

I think we'll put off the Rainforest Cafe for awhile...my kids are afraid of EVERYTHING!!

I've bumped into your comments on all the blogs I read so I thought I'd stop by.

Ditto on the comment above mine...you have a beautiful family.

BTW, cute little mouse you caught the other day, but I don't know if I could even put a glass over it...eek! :)

Nice to "meet" you and I'll stop by again.

Those animals are freaky!! We used to have one here in Denver, but they closed it so the girls have never been. I'm not sure how they'd react to it.

Now I'm craving chips and queso.

Hi, new blogger friend!

Dinner was fun a couple weeks ago...sorry I had to bug out early. You need to join me on an Emmaus walk soon!

My kids are PETRIFIED of that place...we can't even go to Rainforest now. Sad, because I love it...

I love your cinnamon roll post, too. It's so great how the smallest gestures can make your kids think you're the best mommy ever.

Especially on those days when you don't feel like the best mommy ever...

See you soon!

I’m Stephanie - wife to one extremely handsome cop; mother to two extremely silly kids. The hubs and I have been married since February ’99. I love him more each day and simply can’t get enough of him. My daughter, Ashton, is 12 going on 17. She’s beautiful, creative, smart, and oh, so sassy. Taylor, our son, is 8 and is so much like his daddy it’s scary. He makes me laugh all the time with the silly things he says and does. He won’t remember what you told him 5 minutes from now, just like his daddy. I love to laugh and spend time with friends and family. I’ve also recently discovered a love for cooking and enjoy sharing recipes. I love finding new blog friends, so be sure to leave a comment so I can do the same!
